THE PROBLEM
In 2020, Red Dog Mine reached out to PureAir to provide a cost-effective and impactful solution to reduce viral transmission, specifically COVID-19. The facility is located about 100 miles inside the Arctic Circle, which has a limited shipping season - July through October, when conditions allow ship access. Because of this timing issue, delivering the cleanest-possible air recirculation was a top-priority for the mine.
