THE PROBLEM
An oil refinery spanning the border of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, AL-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO), needed our help determining the best way to combat the extremely high levels of H2 S onsite. This project was a joint operation between Saudi Aramco and the Kuwait National Petroleum Company, which produces a high volume of petroleum. They needed to protect employees sheltering in place during an accidental toxic gas release and prevent corrosion of sensitive electronics that could lead to downtime events and costly repairs
